Last year I was contacted by the Spanish publishing company Maomao Publications, to contribute to their new book, Blogs: Mad About Design.

Blog, weblog, logbook … these are words of our time, it felt like they appeared all over the place overnight. Although blogs exist since the end of the 90s, they definitely flourished in 2004. The desire to tell stories, to develop thought through dialogue was always there, so weblogs became a favorite tool to do so. It is as simple to create and publish a blog as it is to check your emails, therefore, content is what really makes the difference. Blogs: mad about design is a shortcut through the web jungle to the most interesting and exciting blogs related to graphic design.

After a back and forth, Maomao decided to include a range of banners from DWB. Scrambling around, I shot off permission emails. Exciting, yes? Absolutely. I’m not sure which banners will be included.
