doodlage
Wow. Impressive. Very. I want one. And um. I clearly took this screen shot awhile ago (apologies Leo and RaShell).

From the about:
On a quest to elevate doodling to the status of an art form that it deserves!
Notebook pages, sticky notes, scraps of paper… These treasures end up in garbage and vanish from the face of the Earth forever. Trashcan art salvage. Enjoy. [... Continue reading ... doodlage

Back of the Napkin
Cave dweller, architect, athlete … web designer?
You’re a cave dweller. Palming your hunt along walls, you act out the stalk, the strike, the kill. You’re the star of the millennium.
You’re an Egyptian architect. Detailing papyrus plans, you envision, calculate, organise and build. You’re the star of the century. [... Continue reading ... The Back of the Napkin

Mattias Inks
Hey, this is going to be a short one. Mattias will understand as he’s had a former review. And besides, he takes timeouts too.
I won’t point out his individual posts in detail. Same goes for his amazing illustrations.
They • are • all • good.
I just wanted to point at Mattias while I sort of take a short time out. Too.
Enjoy.

garfield minus garfield
I have a great sense of humour. To me anyway. Mine.
I laughed tons over comics when I was younger.
These days? They glaze my brain. Seems nothing is original. Same ‘ole.
But garfield minus garfield had me hooting.
I mean, some are me. Well, how I am in my head anyway. When no one’s here.
So now? I’m gratified to know comic humour is not dead. For me.
But. Ouch. Is it legal?
About:
Who would have guessed that when you remove Garfield from the Garfield comic strips, the result is an even better comic about schizophrenia, bipolor disorder, and the empty desperation of modern life? Friends, meet Jon Arbuckle. Let’s laugh and learn with him on a journey deep into the tortured mind of an isolated young everyman as he fights a losing battle against lonliness in a quiet American suburb.
What say you?

Suzanne Buchanan
an open [sketch]book
I haven’t featured an Illustrator’s blog in awhile so it’s past time. And as I found an open [sketch]book showing up in my stats this morning, took the chance while I was there. Along with a penchant for drawing from behind and sneaking peeks in Barnes and Nobles, Suzanne posts a range of talents. I hope you enjoy her work. I do.
