The drive out to the concert wasn&#039;t too shabby either. The reason for the police escort was not due to the recent bombing in Bangkok, but to stop traffic on the way up. 

If you ever get a chance, that&#039;s the way to go anywhere in a city like Bangkok during rush hour. 

There were traffic jams on the freeway and at all the lights, but our motorcycle men in black got out and created a way through for us, stopping all in coming traffic. 

I was impressed.

Eric Clapton has a very talented band. One guitarist was amazing and very young. I could listen to his piano player all night long. Same goes for Eric, as long as he doesn&#039;t get sidetracked into those loooooooooooooooooooooong instrumentals. 

The only down side is I&#039;ve waited 20 years to hear Tears in Heaven. Live. It didn&#039;t happen.</description>
