Why WILDhair links?
In part, because not everything designers, writers, photographers, marketeers, advertisers, illustrators, etc., are interested in has to do with design, writing, photography, marketing and illustration.
Not all the time anyway. But, there’s some of that too – design, writing, photography, marketing, illustration and more.
I did not know that yesterday!
I love facts. The weirder the better. Especially if they are tied in with history. Two books I’m presently reading are Mud, Blood and Poppycock (This will overturn everything you thought you knew about Britain and the First World War), and The Book of General Ignorance (everything you think you know is wrong). Yesterday, I did not know that feeding chocolate is harmful to dogs. I’ll keep that in mind.

Lorem Ipsum 2.0: A designer’s perspective
This new Lorem Ipsum would be a great way to further meld the gap between design and development by giving designers not only rich content including paragraphs, lists, hyperlinks, images, etc., but to take it a step further and also include other standard elements like form elements and even standard sized faux browser windows that help the designer stay within the correct parameters from the beginning.
Any comments?
NTMY – Nice to Meet You!
Nice To Meet You is (yet another) platform for creative people and companies around the world that urges its members to get in touch with others and have an outlet for their creativity. In other words, it’s a space to promote yourself and your work – but even better – to get in touch with other registered users.
The site is down until Monday, but worth a bookmark if you are interested in the community.
Re:mix. Re:make. Re:configure. Re:consider.
REBAR is a collaborative group of creators, designers and activists based in San Francisco … Rebar’s work is fundamentally motivated by the desire to animate the arbitrariness of what French sociologist Pierre Bourdieu calls the doxa: the uncontested acceptance of the daily life-world and the adherence to a set of social relations we take to be self evident. Rebar’s projects are intended to engage social, ecological and cultural processes as they unfold materially in space and time.

This week, two blogs in a row I sent requests to were using Response-O-matic so I thought I’d try it for DWB’s Submit a Blog form.
Running from Camera
The rules are simple: I put the self-timer on 2 seconds, push the button and try to get as far from the camera as I can.
Interesting. Looking at men’s butts is ok for the first dozen, but, dunno. How about ‘put the self-timer on 2 seconds and see how much durian you can eat’ or ‘put the self-timer on 2 seconds and start pulling strange faces?’ I enjoyed Muggezifter’s Other Blog. Nice photography. A perfect feature for DWB.

Todd And’s Power 150 – Top Marketing Blogs
There have been other attempts at posting the top marketing blogs, but this (in my opinion) is the best. Very slick. Very graphic. Nice job.

The Big List of Social Networks
I spent the past few months collecting networking sites. And there they are. More than I have. It makes sense that someone, somewhere would make this a priority.
Well, that’s all for now.
