What a gorgeous banner, yes?

As promised, I’m adding more tutorial-type blogs of the likes of Vectips. And Vectips has added Illustrator and Vector Resources. Thanks Ryan. That’ll come in handy for those needing quick tips at their fingertips. Or those like me, who need a total refresh on Illustrator.

From Ryan Putnam’s about: Vectips is a site for Adobe Illustrator® tips, tricks, and tutorials. Whether you are a seasoned illustrator or just starting out, Vectips will lend you a hand… or a cursor.

Yes. Exactly what I need. Since moving mostly to web (except for logo work), I’ve shifted to Photoshop. Since then, Illustrator has incorporated some of what made PS great. That’s right, I’m no longer a seasoned Illustrator user, nor am I starting out, but I’ll still need that offered helping hand. Thanks!

Cruising through Vectips … ah >> tips >> tricks >> tutorials >> grunge >> yes. Some designers feel grunge is dead. In my experience, nothing in design is really dead, just shelved for a few years or more (just look at fashion). So Ryan’s Quickly Add Grunge To Text is sure to be a keeper.

And what review is complete without a found at included? So I’m chuffed to share, once again, Von’s IllustrationClass.com (found at Vectips). Total quality.
