Amanda has a good head on her shoulders, that's for sure. And I'm glad she has a patient nature too :-)

Although I started blogging for real on DWB, it really all started with the LogoWorks saga (David, I believe I already told you this story).

Previously I pooh poohed blogging (friends would constantly badger me about coming on board).

Then one minute I was trying out blogger for a client (they wanted me to set it up then train them) and the next I was swept up in the blogging moment along with Von, Steve, Robert and the rest of the bunch.

Whooosh. I was hooked. It was then I knew that if I was going to blog, I'd better learn how to write (finally). Because although I could always get writers on Latitude, it doesn't work on personal blogs. No. Not at all.

(or at least I haven't found that it's so)

Great to see Amanda featured here. She comments quite regularly on my blog, and I enjoy reading her thoughts.

As for my own blog beginnings, if I wasn't self-employed, I'd probably never have started (which would've been a shame considering all the great contacts I've made).
