So it’s Sunday night and I’m poking around. Trying to do anything but work. Checking around, Technorati seemed a reasonable time waster. Ok, so is watching the cats chase each other across the room.
But then I find SERIF.
And I start wandering and wondering.
Not that I’m not anal (kind of hard to hide the fact when it’s on public record), but I’m not going to say anything as … well, actually … have you ever been in the position where you are reading something of interest, and they trot out a phase, a common phrase, and you suddenly think to yourself “well, I’ve heard this before. I know this. But, WHAT DOES IT REALLY MEAN?”
I’m at that point. Writing forces you to look at the written word. Writing forces you to OWN the written word. Harder still, writing forces you to THINK. Well, it’s hard for me anyway. I’ve spend years not thinking.
So you ask, “What does it have to do with SERIF?”
Nothing. No, nothing at all. It’s just a Sunday night and I was poking around.
