Thanks Cinamon. I'll have to have my Thai teacher give me tips on pronouncing it.

In Thailand, a lot of expats call themselves 'Farang' when the Thais pronounce it 'Falang'.

So it could be the same differences out here. Saying 'whaa' instead of 'why'.

Brian,

I am SO sorry about spelling your name wrong!

Jay also comes up with lists, but she keeps them secret.

She just does them, and I find out later when she comes out to Bangkok to go over our bits.

And in those cases, SHE brings the chocolates :-)

Haha...my programmers accept beer as partial payment sometimes.

I love the "let's do this" lists! I am even lucky enough to have a programmer that comes up with those lists himself! It's great to answer receive an IM from my programmer that starts with "hey, i had the idea, don't you think it would be cool if it did this.....".

By the way, you spelled it "Brain"! There is some weird thing with about 60% of people that email,IM chat, or blog back to me that they type "Brain" rather than "Brian". Must be a weird way the "brain" processes the visual of the word "Brian".... :)

Stephen - I too am grateful for those who take the time to save my snafus in web. Although I'm interested, my brain just doesn't go there as it's full of other things. Jay has a programmers brain and easily sees into a problem, whereas I'm still fighting with it hours later. Makes more sense for her to tweak in seconds and for me to get on and do what I do best.

This week, at my very best I've been driving her to distraction.

Brain - Welcome to DWB! Glad you found your way here.

I'll bet you have interesting stories to tell about programmers. And they you :-)

Jay keeps a list of eye-rollers on me. And I her.

Problem is, her list for me is terribly long. While mine for her can be counted up on one hand.

Ah, the snafus I present for her to fix ... the 'let's do this' lists I daily share ... and how patient she is (mostly) through it all.

And how GLAD I am that she loves chocolate.

Hi Cat,

Just found your blog. Found this post particularly funny...as I just resigned from my full time position with a company as project manager! I should have employed some of your techniques on my programmers and things may have gone more smoothly!!

will enjoy reading your posts in the future!

Nowadays degree programs are offered by some graphic design schools. In past only certificate programs are available to students but now you can see lot of changes in graphic design career. In fact these graphic design schools give immense help to have jobs in recommended firms. On the other hand, many graphic design firms try to find graphic design resumes that list education from prominent graphic design schools, colleges, or universities.
