I believe that they just don't care. Unless someone they know are being financially harmed, they won't even know about it.

Thanks for the post Dwight. I've tweeted it on nospec

Anti-spec movements are insanely helpful to designers. Too bad, only designers are aware of it. I've tried tweeting some of Spec Watch's posts to my non-designer friends and most of them don't get it or don't really care. Or maybe it's because I'm in such a backwater country? :|

Anyway, I have a recent post loosely related to Spec...if you guys have a time, kindly check it out :) http://www.badbullfrog.com/2009/07/02/all-designers-should-read-this-post/

Twitter is great. Have you been watching SpecWatch?

http://twitter.com/specwatch

It is absolutely incredible what crowdsourcing/spec contests sites have been able to get away with for so long.

I saw some ugly searching Twitter for crowdsourcing too, but I also found this gem that gave me a chuckle:

eshep: thinking of crowdsourcing my yard work.

That last link is certainly ugly. Far too many sentences contain both "crowdsourcing" and "awesome".
