On every good pig there goes 39 bad
I’m getting to love the freedom of the WILDhair posts. Ok, I fess, once again, it’s always when I should be working …
Checking out DWB’s Latest Activity | Incoming Links, I follow one from Mattias, who is now celebrating a grand six months as a blogger.
Some of you may remember that I featured Mattias some months back, when he was still a blogging babe.
Looking to my own early blogging days, I figure that at the very least, six months (for a healthy blogger) brings Mattias into blogging adulthood. A CHINK! to you Matthias. Congrats!
By six months you’ve gone through the learning curves of blogger.com, wordpress, both, or others. The “HOW/WHAT/WHY am I doing this every day?” moods. Too soon, it’s the “WHERE did my audience go?” panics. Then you speed up to run straight into the “HELP!, I need a twelve step programme to extract myself!” head rushes. And finally, to “the nows”, the steady drip, drip, drip of posts. The “ahhhhh’s” of blogging. The “Ma, Pa, look what I made!” Nice.
From Mattias:
Didn’t want to make a big production of this celebration. Will have a small do at home, some deep fried swans and some oysters, per usual.

If reading through what Mattias made doesn’t make you smile, I honestly don’t know what would.

That pretty much sums it up. It’s been quite some ride. Thanks

I can relate to this and I’m not even a blogger. Being the wife of Mattias, I get to experience his HOW/WHAT/WHY/WHERE/HELP moodswings up close :) You hit the nail on the head.

Mattias and Celilia,
Blogging is such a great experience. I keep trying to get my husband to blog (he’s a geologist) but after watching all the time I put into DWB and others, he has to pass.
Here’s to both of you, your next six blogging months, and that fantastic blog you have!
