Joe's blog
Le blog personnel de Joe Clark

From Joe:
I work in the field of accessibility and I write a personal blog here. I cover a number of topics of interest, including accessibility, Web standards, typography, and linguistics.

I’m lazy. I’ve signed up for Google Alerts to get subjects of interest delivered to my inbox. Joe’s blog came in this morning, and since my interest in typography was twiddled by my recent post on TypeOff., I’m going to jump the cue and add Joe as a WILDhair. It’s good stuff so I’m sure you’ll enjoy what he has to say.

Btw - if you are not into typography, no matter. Joe’s blog isn’t really about typography. Typography is just one subject in his categories. The one that interests me. As well as others. But, like I said. I’m lazy. Especially this week.

Quoting Joe:
The Toronto Typographic Charter:
“OK, I’m sick of being made to feel like a fop, a pansy, or simply a girl because I want typography to improve. I’m especially sick of getting that bullshit when the issue is the typography of public space, like the subway. (I’m also tired of the Spacers and their Weblog commenters, who are consistently wrong about signage.) I’m sick of this city’s refusal to take typography seriously.

I hereby call for a Toronto Typographic Charter.”
