Chuck,

A fantastic find, thanks for sharing.

I agree, the Ford logo is clearly left in the dust. For me, same goes with Renault.

My favourite of the lot? Volkswagen. It kept the consistency through the years.

Very interesting, I was thinking about this very subject when I saw the Ford logo the other day. To me, the Ford logo is no longer a positive. It simply looks antiquated. I understand the concept of maintaining the brand, family pride, and such, but I think it is in need of a significant update.

As you see here (go to the section on Ford)–it has changed but not changed…

http://www.neatorama.com/2008/02/18/evolution-of-car-logos/

I have a theory, I think it is the script lettering that turns me off. Notice, among these, that even those that started with script lettering abandoned it. Any thoughts?

Hey Joanna,

Thank you for your comments. The post took longer than it should, but today was useless anyway so might as well write rather than break something Jay has to fix (although I did that later on).

The partial feeds have been driving me crazy! I'm pretty religious about showing full feeds, so I've had full feeds selected in WP ... but ... for email feeds only partial feeds have been sent out. Until you mentioned it, I didn't realise it was both - rss and email.

So, I googled, and apparently it's a Feedburner deal. Now fixed (I hope).

Hey Cat, at least you can use your insomnia to write us an entertaining blog post!

Thanks for sharing :-)

Joanna

PS You seem to have switched to partial feeds - is it deliberate? I get a bit grumpy about them...

Joanna Young's last blog post..Are You Inspired To Be An Authority?

Hi Rob! Glad to be the nudger :-)

I do hope to see you posting again. You put good amount of decent writing and thought into Artwerk. Very nice.
