Typically, when I meet a man with two first names, I’m going to choose the wrong one to open communication. Being the class act he is, Israeli Norman (not Robert) briefly corrected me then moved on with the reason for our conversation, his bushy-eyed photo (seen in the banner above).

For less than the price of a sister you could have come along to the Eric Clapton concert I enjoyed last night. Great fun, we left from the British Club via convoy, motorcycle police making our way through rush hour traffic. Coming onto a packed freeway, we all leaned to the right to watch as they halted cars two lanes wide so we could get through. I raised my glass of red in salute as traffic lights received the same treatment. The only downside of the night was the lack of the one song I’ve waited 20 years to hear him sing live – Tears in Heaven. If I ever get to another Clapton concert, sending him a t-shirt (tweaked of course) might help him remember my fav of his hit songs. I mean, come on, who ever heard of an Eric Clapton concert without Tears in Heaven? He even played songs from Cream (which I would have gladly exchanged, given even a midget of a chance).
