Eric. I’m loving it. I’m loving the redesign (easier to walk through).
I’m loving the head.
I’m especially loving the – “Touch me and I’ll take you home”.
What a great line, yes?
From Eric:
Ta-da! Welcome to the redesigned ideasonideas! The new “look” represents both a change in direction and a bit of a revised mandate. I’d like to talk about the future of this blog, our reasons for change, and the compelling new content we’re working to deliver.
Interesting Posts … decisions … decisions … what to pick, lah …:
It’s not them; it’s us (sometimes) and How to disarm 10 difficult client observations/requests.
For the rest, get thee to ‘the works’.

PS: As you might have noticed, I’ve recently revamped DWB (I’ll do a dedicated post when I’m finished with the twiddle bits). In the revamp I put the extensive blog roll on a page of its own. The only blogs shown on my side bar follow two main lines. One – those I read often. And two – those I have a real and continued back and forth with. Eric with ideasonideas is such a one. We connected back during the no-spec.com campaign and kept on connecting. It happens.

Eric’s doing a great job, as are the others at smashLAB. The ‘touch me and I’ll take you home’ is certainly original, so good work there, but something about it sits a little off.
On another note, I’m liking the subtle additions you keep making to your blog design here (plugins / feed count etc.).

Hmm … Ok, now I understand what you are saying.
It took me three edits of my post before getting it right.
It was like we were sitting in a bar and someone was winking back. And no matter what I wrote. It was ME!
And I’m good with that. I’m more than a bit of a flirt (especially on a Friday night).
But you, as a guy, might feel a wee bit different with the ‘touch me and I’ll take you home’ request.
My, my …
:-D
Ah, and on the other note … thanks for the kudos. I’ve been tweaking (and un-tweaking as you know) these last few weeks.
It all takes time. And only until Jay is here to clean up the css will it be really right.
(for instance, my post titles are WAY too close to the banners)
Perhaps the majority of Eric’s readers like a little touching. Well, who doesn’t now and again, but I’ll stick to the opposite sex.
Eric, if you’re reading, I hope you don’t take offence.

I’m sure he won’t. If I know Eric, he’ll be chuckling a basket full :-)
No offense taken whatsoever. That being said, I think it’s the most anyone has ever said about touching me. ;-)
Ohhhh, I think you are going to get more than a few comments of that range. Just a few days ago UnBeige did a touchy feely. Quite nice actually! I’d post it here but I always have problems finding previous stuff on their site. And google doesn’t like them at all, so no luck there.
