Well, well. Here’s a surprise. Today, in Dexigner’s newsletter (one of the few newsletters I do read), Icograda announce their new site design (I like).
Poking around, I see they’ve started a blog. At the moment, only David Berman’s post is available. But the rest of the gang are sure to pitch in.
Keeping up a blog is a lot of work. I wish them well.
From Leading Creatively Blog:
What does it mean to ‘lead creatively’ in today’s global community? How can design be used as a medium for progressive change? The Icograda blog is a space to engage with designers from around the globe on topics of the day. If you would like to suggest a topic, contact the Secretariat.

Thanks for mentioning this, Cat. As I said, I’ll have to have a dig around and see what’s on offer.
David Airey’s last blog post..All about Paul Rand
David – Icograda has a great bunch of people donating their time to help out. Many projects going off here and there. If you get a chance, join in on one of their regional meetings. Very informative.
Hello
Have just come across ‘Designers who Blog’.
My name is Toni, I am a Open University (OU) student. In February 2008, I began the course ‘Innovation: Designing for a Sustainable Future’. If things go to plan, this will be the final course that I need to do, to gain a basic degree.
I just started my own blog this weekend as part of my course project; I have to keep a project diary, so it will be useful for that but I also thought it would be a good way of keeping in touch with those who are kind enough to help me, with ideas, comments and feedback.
I would be really interested in the views of ‘real’ designers to my ideas.
If you are feeling kindly, maybe you will pop by for a visit and leave me some feedback.
Toni

Hi Toni,
I did a quick check and seems pretty good so far.
The problem I find with blogs is not the starting, but the continued dedication post after post, year after year.
One blog that might interest you is greendesigners.org by Errol Saladana. He’s a long time advocate of the design industry and has many thoughts to share.
