I’m not skivving off because it’s a wicked Friday the 13th.
I’m telling the truth here.
Dickson Fong is a site to be experienced.
By you.
So go. Drool even.
Change those wicked ways.

It’s a nice site, for sure. Well presented. I also like Dickson’s interactive client questionnaire PDF.
Have a great weekend, Cat!

It’s a beautiful site. I drooled over it the first time I saw it, then again when I went to do the writeup last night. Some people just know how to design minimal, for sure!
You have a great weekend too David. I’m going to enjoy every minute of this cool weather. So nice!

I agree Dickson Fong’s design is nice and beautiful because it is never cluttered and all in there are appropriately designed. I am a fan of neat and well-arranged sites with informative contents because it will surely not waste your time. Visiting sites like it are easy on our eyes :)
I have a question. What is the purpose behind having some of the words white and some of them pink in your design? White reads “is I help effectively.” Seems like white reading “I help people communicate effectively.” would be more effective. Just my two cents. I like the minimal design though. Looks really good!
Peter, I obviously can’t answer for Dickson … but I smiled at his filtering out ‘people communicate using web design’.

Peter: the white and pink text selection is admittedly pretty arbitrary. The pink was supposed to be the ‘highlights’ of the string, such that the pink alone would be sufficient to get the main message across. Of course, since it’s all sitting on a black background, depending on how much pink is highlighted, the white might actually stand out more.
For the particular homepage that Cat screenshot above, I decided to highlight “people communicate using web design” because I wanted to stress that we’re all involved, rather than just I myself. I’ve made some subtle changes to the wording across the site several weeks ago which aren’t reflected in Cat’s screenshot, so I’d love to hear your guy’s input on some of them.
Thanks for all the comments!
