Hey all, David Airey needs your help. He went away for the holidays and came back to a stolen site.
All he needs is for you to change your links from www.davidairey.com to www.davidairey.co.uk.
And hey, if you are not reading David Airey, perhaps this is a good time to start?
Similar happened to me years ago but no where near as nasty. The place I bought my domain name from sold it out from under me without a shout. Wonderful friends came to my aid so it wasn’t a total loss. One opened a conversation with the chap who’d bought it in auction (a chap who, it turned out, wasn’t so bad after all). And the other, Conor from www.handsonwebhosting.com, swooped in and got it back.
Friends, what would we do without them?

This is very kind of you, Cat! What would we do without friends indeed?
I’ve just published the full story, telling how the hacker gained access to my GMail account. You can read all about it by clicking on my name.
One other thing, I replied to your comment on my blog, but you didn’t received notification. It seems your ‘thecat’ email account is over quota, and I thought you’d like to know.
Hi David. Thanks for the heads up on my email. I was sent a megga file … and you know how that goes …
I read the full story. Amazing how they can find holes like that. I immediately checked my gmail to see what the setting were.
And I’m busy changing ALL my passwords to something more difficult.
Ohh.. I read about few posts of David.. I didn’t noticed he was hacked… :( Geezzz..
Yes, it was a nightmare for him. And an awful way to find out – on holiday.
It’s a good thing David has a cool temper or it could have escalated.
Great
