Clients: Beware, and Be Clear!
Tom Stephan’s latest post at Business of Design online is so funny, I just HAD to share here. You know, in case some of you haven’t made it over there yet.
Who’s Tom? Well, when Tom isn’t writing for BoDo, he’s working as a Director of Communications for a social-religious type organisation.
So, I guess Tom gets to talk to God a lot.
And if you head over to Clients: Beware, and Be Clear!, you might even agree with me. That the two have a special relationship.
From God:
“Tom, and verily I say unto thee, that thou shalt have thy wish in abundance. Let there be…”
Manly Hair
Tom posts you shouldn’t miss:
A Client’s Guide to Professional Conduct in the Design Industry (scroll down past my bits). Anything from Dyer Straits. And anything from the Working Pro-bono series (stay tuned for the new post going live Thursday. It’s a doozy!)
Disclaimer: No, those are not Tom’s chest hairs. I improvised due to photo requests disappearing into the black hole that is email (“yoooo hoooo, Tom …”). The two security guys just here didn’t look manly enough, so I asked my buddy Jay in Australia if she would please ask her partner for a favour. His reaction? “Are you SERIOUS???????” then walks off up the hallway muttering about so and so women … but, as you can see, he came through for us. Thanks Lx!
