I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. When I die, I’m coming back Canadian. Eh?
Why? Well, because number one, their two top design orgs, the GDC and RGD Ontario lead the international way in the NO!SPEC Campaign.
Number two (unless I’ve lost count), Canadians are one of only two countries in the world with national certification.
Number three, they have David Berman and Marian Bantjes.
And oh, number four, a biggie, they have over 80% of the worlds production of Maple syrup. It’s probably over 90%, but we all know how modest Canadians are. Eh?
And now those Canadians have done it again with their Canadian Design Resource. And not recently, either.
Without an about section to be found, I’ll quote MoCo Loco. “Motherbrand designers Todd Falkowsky and Michael Erdmann with graphic designer Bill Acheson have launched the Canadian Design Resource. In the same vein as CABIN, only with a new spin, the designs featured are the found remnants of Canada’s most rapidly declining resource; local design.”
Browsing through their categories, my two favourite posts are: Québec Canada and the beautiful InterAccess Logo.
Found at the Canadian Design Resource: Adanac an iconic font representing aspects of Canadian culture and history.
The Canadian Design Resource was discovered via: Spaghetti Testing
And that’s no April Fools. Eh?

That InterAccess logo is ridiculously epic. I love it.

Yes, you pinned it down exactly. I keep looking it up and down. And down again. I like.
