Be Good Not Bad
Be Good Not Bad

Brian Warren originally blogged at the beautiful Watchtan. He switched over last year but I’m just now catching up.

Quoting Brian: “Whether it’s designing a site, rocking the CSS or brewing a batch of homemade beer, I do it with passion. Life is too short to not make opportunities to do what you enjoy. I’m a blessed person to be able to do just that. I enjoy design and helping people.”

Brian is equally passionate when it comes to the subject of working spec. You can read just how much at his post, Finding the Con in Contests.

So there you have it. Brian Warren. Being good. Not bad. With passion.

Note: The spec conversation continues on at David Airey’s with Spec work in the internet age and at Freelance Switch with Design Contests, Devaluing Design, and Is It Ever OK? and at Angie Herrera’s with Design contests don’t bring the best of anything and at Adam Howell’s with The Pixish logo belongs next to “spec work” on dictionary.com and at Pro-Imaging (no spec site for photographers) with Photo Competitions : Rights Grabbing Raids?. Enjoy.
