Andy Jacobson Design is sparse, but it grabs.
For starters, I’m partial to a thought-process blog. Andy Jacobson Design offers such a one with SASCHA.
Secondly, I’m another who came sideways into the industry, so I feel a kinship withAndy’s sweet bit explaining how he started into the biz.
And as I’m forced to drink coffee with a warning label (a warning to all who come in contact with me after the fact), Fishs Eddy: measuring cup ‘o joe… was a smooth read.
From Andy:
my clients value my ability to evaluate and understand their communication needs, and create a conceptual foundation that can be used as a starting point for all design related projects.
dropping off a a portfolio case filled with work doesn’t help clarify what the thinking is behind the execution. nor does it explain the process.
a blog can…for less than $10 a month and very little effort.
and that’s what i hope to do with mine.
