Today, at midnight (Eastern Time Zone), 9rules opens round 5. Comparing time zones, while I’m sitting down to a midday meal, around the world shaky, tired fingers will be poised over their send buttons.
Predictions put this as the largest submission grab ever. Ignoring the cheeky ’2′, at the 9rules Round 5 Number Game, guesstimations run from an insanely low 500 to a dizzy 5555. The last round came in around 700 … so … taking a stab, I loosely predict that this round has a good chance of coming in at the 1000-2000 range.

Members and friends of Creative Latitude have a similar mindset. We give back to the design community by writing informative articles, blog posts and forum posts. Working together, we formed NO!SPEC. and compiled a Clients Guide to Professional Conduct in the Design Industry. We also spend hours each week answering hordes of private emails from those at different stages in their design careers.
In the past four years plus (before the launch of CL), it’s been a character building experience. So much so that I have (at times) resented clients getting in the way. I’ve found a fix but … the announcement will come later.
